How to get to "Parco dei Monti Rognosi e Valle del Sovara"

The Natural Reserve of Monti Rognosi and the whole area covered by the park is located just a few kilometers north of Anghiari. The area is easily reached, no matter the direction you are coming from:

- coming from Anghiari and/or Sansepolcro, one must take the S.P. 45 road towards Ponte alla Piera. Alternatively, coming from Anghiari, one could take the S.P. 47 towards Caprese Michelangelo and then, just after crossing the small village of Motina, the entrance of the park is along the road;

- coming from Casentino and Caprese Michelangelo, on can take the S.P. 57 linking Subbiano and Caprese, crossing the village of Ponte alla Piera;

- coming from Arezzo, one must take the S.P. 71 towards Bibbiena and then take the S.P. 43 as soon as possible. After driving for about 15 kilometers on a very suggestive panoramic road across the hills, one will find himself in the park.
