About us
For more than 15 years Toscana d’Appennino works to promote the Valtiberina Toscana proposing new solutions in order to integrate the cultural heritage with the area and the culture with the tourism. The cooperative society is made up a staff of professionals with a wide range of formal educations working in the areas of the cultural heritage, environment, education, communication and tourism. It is a group of passionate young people who decided to live and work hard for a new culture of the territory. The society takes part in many important public and private projects always keeping in mind the future of the territory, connecting with the producers as well as with the institutions. Our main goal is to promote a sustainable development of the Tiber Valley in order to create new working places, to value and promote the environmental wealth of our area, to invest in new technologies and to educate young people.

The cooperative society provides services in areas of Culture, Environment, Didactics and Tourism promoting information, correct management and promotion of the Tuscan Tiber Valley. It stands out as a reliable entity able to coordinate, manage and promote innovative projects of local development aiming at the presentation of the area as a whole by conceinving the Valtiberina as a unique resource, combining the work, the history, the culture, the landscape and the environment into one. By putting together the best of the public and private, we look towards a future where the economic values are in balance with the social and the environmental ones to achieve the Sustainability.
Our services and activities
The Toscana d’Appennino works on:
- The management, promotion and planning of new structures of cultural and environmental interest
(museums, parks, visitor centers and environmental education);
- Museum exhibitions and display solutions;
- Creation and management of educational and recreational services, for various user groups;
- Territorial planning and marketing;
- Projecting and promotion of tourist routes to improve the use of the territory;
- Planning and creation of events, taking care of the secretariat, the logistics and the communication;
- Management of tourist facilities within integrated programs of the development of the territory
